The night before matters more than people think.
Lay it all out on the bed. The top you love. The one you’re not sure about. The blazer that makes you stand taller. The accessories, the backup shirt, the shoes that actually fit properly, not the ones still in the box with the tags on.
Iron anything that needs it. Check the buttons. Have a good look under real light, not the glow of a phone screen at eleven at night.
Then close the cupboard and leave it there.
There’s a different kind of sleep that comes from knowing everything is sorted. No scrolling through the cupboard at seven in the morning. No last minute ironing with one shoe on. Just a quiet house, a good night’s rest and a clear head.
Walking into your session already sorted changes the whole morning. The coffee tastes better. The drive feels shorter. There’s a calm that shows up on camera, the kind that can’t be manufactured once the lights are on.
Confidence has a head start when the decisions are already made.
